NEW YORK CITY (Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020) – Williams Lea, the leading global provider of skilled business-critical support services, is celebrating 200 years in business. Founded as a print house in 1820 by Londoner John Wertheimer, the company has evolved and adapted to the business world. Now, Williams Lea has over 5,700 employees on five continents supporting financial, legal and professional services clients through a global service network.

Hart added that 2020 has been the “ultimate test” of the business’s adaptability. The company has continued to see increased demand for many of its virtual services as clients in the legal and financial industries become more reliant on remote working.
Because of COVID-19, Williams Lea was forced to abandon plans for in-person celebrations of this monumental 200th anniversary. Instead, the company relied on virtual activities, leading up to the launch of its showpiece video, “200 Years in 200 Seconds.” The video details the timeline of the business alongside a moving history to explain how Williams Lea leveraged technology and innovation to better serve its clients.
